October events – Private Acute Healthcare Conference
On Wednesday 11th October the UK team attended their second external event of the year with a return to LaingBuisson’s Private Acute Healthcare Conference. Held in the stunning etc.venues St Paul’s in London, the UK team joined directors, finance executives and senior management from leading private hospital operators and investors for an intense day of healthcare discussions.
Throughout the day the UK team found that the challenges and issues discussed repeated across multiple healthcare environments – tracking and tracing implants and devices for better visibility and costing of procedures, and increased patient safety with greater recall timings and accuracy. The duplication of systems
was also a topic of conversation – the ability to streamline processes with integration so that information is captured once, at the point of care, and fed throughout various systems to save time and keep data consistent. Questions were asked – if the system is already capturing some data at the point of care then why not capture as much information as possible and share that data throughout? If it’s available within a barcode to be scanned then it makes sense. A passionate topic and, along with track and tracing of implant information, one that we’ve provided solutions to for multiple healthcare organisations.
h-trak’s flexibility to interface with multiple clinical, financial and procurement systems allows for an interoperable process, supporting the need to simplify complex and multiple methods of working – a one-for-all approach!
Our team wanted to extend a huge thanks to LaingBuisson and etc.venues for hosting another fantastic event and facilitating some insightful and inspiring conversations.
