h-trak takes part in UK Procurement Summer Conference

Whittlebury Park in Northamptonshire was the sunny location for last week’s HCSA Summer Conference, where 200 NHS procurement professionals came together for the first summertime event since 2019.

As well as a great networking opportunity, the event, run by the UK Health Care Supply Association, provided key information on the implications of the revised UK Procurement Bill and it’s inclusion of Social Values; how to achieve value-based procurement within the new NHS ICS structure; and building resilience into post-COVID recovery plans. There were also some illuminating insights on ways to achieve sustainability and address climate challenge throughout the NHS supply chain.

Prospitalia h-trak UK was delighted to participate as one of a handful of exhibitors at the event. Meeting this key procurement community is very important to us, especially as over the last few years most contact has been via MS Teams.

We really appreciated having fruitful conversations with procurement managers about their inventory management and Scan4Safety plans – and explaining how h-trak can support their programmes.

We look forward to meeting this audience again, along with more of their colleagues, at the Annual HCSA Winter Conference which will be held in Manchester in November.
